Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Munchain ("the Game", "we", "us") handles your information. The Game is developed by Lewa ("the Developer"). By playing Munchain you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Munchain does not require you to create an account with personal information. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or precise location.

We process the following:

Anonymous account ID: When you first open the Game, an anonymous identifier is created (via Supabase anonymous authentication) to save your progress and rankings. It is not linked to your real identity.
Gameplay data: Scores, league points (RP), match history, duel results, and the move history of competitive matches (used to verify scores and prevent cheating).
Username: A display name you may set yourself (auto-generated by default). This appears on leaderboards. Please do not enter personal information as your username.
Analytics events: Anonymous usage events (e.g. app opened, game started, match finished) to understand how the Game is used and improve it. These contain no personal data.
Advertising identifier & device data: To show ads, Google AdMob may access your device's advertising ID (AAID) and limited technical/device information (e.g. device type, OS version, coarse region, IP-derived country). See "Advertising" below.

2. How We Use Information

To save and sync your game progress across sessions.
To operate leaderboards, leagues, and duels.
To verify match results and prevent cheating.
To analyze aggregate usage and improve the Game.
To display advertisements that help keep the Game free.

We do not sell your data.

3. Third-Party Services

Supabase (database & authentication) — stores your anonymous account and game data. See supabase.com/privacy
PostHog (product analytics) — anonymous usage events. See posthog.com/privacy
Google AdMob (advertising) — serves the ads in the Game and processes the advertising ID and device data described above. See Google Ads policies and Google Privacy Policy

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

4. Advertising

Munchain is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob:

Rewarded ads are optional — they only play when you choose to watch one (e.g. to double a reward).
Interstitial (full-screen) ads may appear occasionally between games.

We request non-personalized ads (ads are not based on a profile of your interests). Even so, AdMob may use your advertising ID and device data for purposes such as ad delivery, frequency capping, and fraud/abuse prevention, as described in Google's policies above. Ad content is limited to a maximum content rating of PG, and the Game is not directed to children (see "Children").

You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy / Google → Ads).

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time: In-game → Settings → "Delete account & data." This permanently removes your anonymous account, scores, league standing, and duels. Because accounts are anonymous and tied to your device, you may also request deletion by emailing sarialemirhan0@gmail.com (we will need information to locate the relevant data).

6. Children

Munchain is not directed to children under 13 and is rated for ages 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and ads are configured as non-personalized and limited to PG content. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and protected by database access controls (row-level security). No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
